Making technical diving simple again. After years and years of enormous growth in courses with all training associations worldwide, we want to make diving and specificly technical diving a simple and affordable sport again. With changing back to the basic courses and teaching all nessecary skills in these courses technical diving becomes affordable and fun again. Instead of offering dozens of (sub)courses which teach almost the same thing over and over again. We want to get rid off this and spent our time on diving. Get experienced.

 We offer only four courses. We go back to the basics you need to know, we offer this information only in one course. We do not offe rmultiple courses that teach the same or allmost the same. So only  "Nitrox" no "Advanced Nitrox", "Technical Nitrox",  "Decompression Nitrox" etcera. You will learn everything you need to know in our Nitrox course, even the use off a single different decompression gas. This means you don't get bored with the same stuff again and again. It will cut back on costs, so you can use this on equipment, tons off it. Because besides knowledge and experience,  equipment is what you need if going to become a technical diver.

So we teach 4 courses to have all the things right it is wise to start off with our courses and follow them up to the required level. This is why we only offer cross overs after carefully consideration by the instructor with our headquarters.

 Digital study materials versus printed version. We offer free digital books (PDF) with every course. You're instructor or you can if wanted print these to have a paper version. So no need for expensive books extra hidden cost etc...

IATD nor it's staff, members or any associated parties will not accept responsibility for accidents or injuries resulting from the use of information given by this site or any materials found here or any activities of scuba diving using open, semi-closed, closed breathing equipment, or breathing compressed air, or any alternative mixes including, oxygen, nitrogen, helium, neon or combinations of these.

Diving and or the use of compressed air or gas mixtures underwater have inherent risks. Which in some cases may lead to injuries, disabilities or dead. Differences in individual physiology may lead to serious injuries or up to dead even when staying within accepted limits and correct use of dive tables and or computers.

All persons who wish to engage in diving, must receive instructions from a certified scuba instructor and complete all requirements to become a certified diver. The use of alternative gas mixtures in any form, requires additional instruction beyond the recreational scuba diving courses.

All trained and certified scuba divers, using compressed air or any gas mixtures, are informed of the risks involved with scuba diving and the use of alternative gas mixtures and are responsible for their own actions. Those who do not whish to follow, complete instruction, certification or maintaining their skills after the course through active participation in scuba activities, accept a high risk of injury or even dead.

 Everybody can access  our database and check if someone has a certain certification. So check if you're Instructor is on active teaching status. Dive centres check if you're clients have the certificate they present etc....

 We offer a limited amount off courses 4 recreational and 3 instructor courses. This however means that all nessecary skills, theory and experience is covered within these courses. Read more...

 Certification for all divers is made online by the instructor. So if you're ready with the course, you're application is made online. You're instructor will hand you you're certificationcard directly
